The Turkey Legs Trifecta is a race like no other. Run 1, 2 or all 3 events for a distance of your choosing.
We have three separate distances: 4K, 5K, 6K. Each race is 60-75 minutes apart. After running one, grab a quick rest, drink, snack and do it again! Run all three for a half-marathon distance.
These runs are trail runs at the Urban Wilderness Trail located just west of downtown Indianapolis along the banks of the White River. See map.
Here’s the plan: We’ll run a 4K at 10:00am. A 5K at 11:00am. A 6K at 12:15pm. Obviously, to run all three events you must be able to finish a run in less than one hour.
Bring your own food/snacks. Set up a picnic. Trade watching kids with your friends. Turkey Chili & Turkey Hot Dogs included.
There will be medals for each event. Run all three for a 3-piece medal that fits together. See image below for 2018 medals.
